About the Author
Rajanikanta Mohanty (1952) has innovated quite a bit in the realm of modern and post-modern Odia short stories, influenced many. He has eleven short story collections, six novels, two poetry collections, and a criticism book published to his credit. His stories in English appeared in Indian literature (New-Delhi), The Challenge (Jamshedpur), Dasuram’s Script (Harper Collins, India), SAARC Nations short stories publication (Colombo) and begged wide response and high appreciations. He is the winner of Odisha Sahitya Academy award in 2004 for his short story collection Jhipi Jhipi Andhar (Drizzling darkness).
Dr. Brajamohan Mishra (1949) taught English literature in different colleges of Odisha from 1973-2006. A polyglot, bilingual writer, translator and orator, Dr. Mishra has published books such as The Poetry of T.S. Eliot (literary criticism), Nabakrushna Choudhury, Skanda Purana-The Utkal part, Mahatma banam Gandhi, In quest of happiness (Translation), Priti o Pratyaya, Dala Satya Jagat Mithya, Sambodhi (Essays and criticisms in Odia).
