About the Author

Varish Panigrahi has written books on Mahayana Buddhism, Zen, and Advaita Vedanta. He is the President of Kalinga ZEN Advaita Mahasangha in Bhubaneswar. He completed B.Tech. Hons. in Electronics at IIT Kharagpur, and MS plus Ph.D. degrees at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He worked for three decades as a technocrat in the United States. Since 1997 he has been living in Bhubaneswar where he started and managed a software company. He has been writing since school and was the literary secretary of his high school. He was also an editor of the IEEE Computer magazine. The present book is the story that grew inside him as he searched for the real Buddha.
