About the Author

Malakshmi Borthakur is a contemporary Indian multilingual poet, short story writer and translator. An Assamese by birth and a resident of Lucknow city in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India, Malakshmi writes in English, Hindi and her native language, Assamese. She is a Post Graduate in English and Indian Classical (Vocal) Music. She has published many of her poems in reputed journals, E-zines and best-selling anthologies and has garnered huge appreciation worldwide. Her writing brought for her many international and national awards and accolades.
