Sphardhita Naree Swara: Kalajayee O Samakala Odia Kabita

Dr. Sugyani Kumar Sahu (born 1986) is a well-known name in the contemporary literary world of creative writing, poetry and criticism. She is an eminent research scholar in the Odia literary world and for her exclusive contribution to “Oriya Caption Language Interface Pack for Visual studio 2010”, the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 has conferred a certificate of appreciation for her excellent work in this area. Far away from the madding crowd, the young research scholar, Sugyani has successfully completed a marvelous research on a thesis titled “The Technical use of Odia Language: Preparation of Optical Character Recognition (OCR)” and has been awarded Doctorate Degree of Philosophy in Odia by one of the premier institutions of the country Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha in 2014. She has been in teaching for more than a decade in various institutions of Odisha. Currently she is teaching in the Dept. Of Odia in the Sailabala Women’s Autonomous College since 2018. She has published various papers based on her research in different renowned Odia magazines like The Jhankara, The Istahara, The Saptarshi, The Mahanadi etc. and has been appreciated by critics. She has published two poetry collections Sanjeevini and Ghatichi Ghatini, and books of criticism Odia Sahityare Bibidha Alochana, Bimugdha Bedana Ra Nila Saraswati and Akhlia Mohana Galpa Samagraha re Charitra Bislesana.
