About the Author
Dr. Aparna Mohanty (Born December 16, 1952; Kendrapara) is a strong feminist voice in contemporary Odia literature. She has published thirteen poetry collections including Asati, Atithi, Jhia Paain Jharkatie, Nastanari, Maa`ra Kandana Gita, Yogini Gita and Agni Kamalini, four translation collections, and three criticism collections. She has received Odisha Sahitya Academy in 2007 for her poetry collection Jhia Paain Jharkatie.
