About the Author
Manoranjan Sahoo born, 10th July 1966, writes poetry from 1985 mostly in Odia. He lives in village named Indupur, Kendrapara, Odisha, near the river Birupa a few distance from Buddhist Monument Ancient Cultural and Educational University ‘Ratnagiri’. His first poetry collection “Apadevata” got published in 2000, Pine Books, Cuttack. The 2nd one “Khali Hatare” in 2009, Ezy’s Publication, Bhubaneswar. He is the recipient of the “Punnarnava Modern Poetry Award” (2017), “Rajashree Kala O Sahitya Award” (2018), “Sanibara Srujani Sandhya, Vani Vihar” (1989), “Aparna Sahitya Sansada Poetry Award” (1996). Best poetry award from “Adeita Smruti Committee” (1999). Some poetry translated from Odia to other Indian Languages. He can be reached at msahoo9937@gmail.com.
