About the Author
Manoranjan Mishra (PhD) works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Government Autonomous College, Angul, Odisha. Best Stories of Chandrasekhar Dasburma is his first published translated text. Dr. Mishra has edited Contemporary Odia Short Stories and translated the vignettes of Dr. Gourahari Das in The Address of God, both published by Black Eagle Books, Dublin. He has also translated the Central Sahitya Akademy award winning stories of Gayatri Saraf’s Itavatira Silpee into The Artist of a Brick-Kiln. His recent translation of Ajay Mohapatra’s Pruthak Ishwar into The Orphan and Incarnation was published in January 2022.
