Born in 1973, Dr. Biraja Routray is a powerful voice among contemporary voices in Odia short stories. His short stories and poems are around the variance of the day-to-day life of a common man. He remains in the continuous search of life and shares his experience in the form of short stories with readers. His five short story collections are ‘Gahali Arapakhe, ‘ ‘Bahubachan, ‘ ‘Pratipakshara Hasa, ‘ ‘Bishama Bahu, ‘ ‘Purna o Sunya.’ He also has four poetry collections and a collection of essays to his credit. “Tarabharti Aakash” has received 35th Bhubaneswar.
