About the Author
Senapati Dr. Pradyumna Keshari (1959) Associate Professor, Odia language & literature a widely nationally acclaimed poet of contemporary Odia Literature. He has authored eight poetry collections to his credit in his own mother tongue. ‘Putana’ the poetry anthology of Odia language has got a new shape in Hindi through translation is a milestone of his carrier. ‘The Gate is open’ an English version of Dr. Senapati a translated anthology, a great poetic work made by Prof. Jayanta Mohapatra the poet of International repute. Dr. Senapati started his carrier as a poet since the year 1980 and many times represented as a leading poet of the state to attend All India Poets Meet organized by Sahitya Akademy as well as All India Radio, New Delhi. He is also a lyricist approved in the year 1986 by AIR, New Delhi. He is recipient of many literary award like Bhubaneswar Book Fair Award- 1995 for his poetry collections Alaga Ayodhya, Prajatantra Bishuba Milan Jhankar Kabita Puraskar and honored by several literary institutions of Odisha.
